don't ever judge it's book by it's cover
Have you ever heard the expression "don't judge its book by its cover?" I always heard that expression but never pay much attention to it. I was only seventeen years old when I took in consideration this expression. I always had bad luck with girls I lay and eye on. They would either betray me or cheat on me.It wasn't long ago when an outrageous girl named Laura came across my life; she had everything a guy could ever ask for. She was intelligent, beautiful, kind, trustworthy...you name it. We became friends at first and then best friends until I asked her to be my "girlfriend." Yes I remember it like it was yesterday "yes! Marcos ill love to be your "girlfriend" she affirmed with an intensive excitement. I thought she would be the one I could give it all on, but little did I know I was wrong. It was on a sweet 15 when I introduced Laura to my "Best Friend" Christian. After all the years we've been known we were like brothers. We spend an admirable time at the party dancing and having fun like no tomorrow. Although I noticed that Christian kept on looking at my girl and every time they had the chance to talk they would giggle. I disregard the fact that Christian would ever betray me. Two days past and I was supposed to spend some time with my "girlfriend." I called her and called her but she never answer. So I went to Christian’s house to see what he was doing. I turned out to be that my "girlfriend" was in his house. "What are you doing here?" I exclaimed. She didn't had to answer to notice what they were doing. Her silence said it all. The look in her face was unexplainable. I just smile and said "is funny how life can treat you" then with much rage I left. Nothing left but thoughts full of sorrow. Shore she tried to talk to me after that but I refused to talk and waste my time on something that already happened. A few months past and I was already a senior. It was there were I met the true love of my life, her name was Stephanie. We started as friends and ended up as boyfriend and girlfriend. This time I didn't rush like the rest of the other times. Why should love be rushed if there's all the time in the world? I didn't even expect that she would be the one I could trust. Since that day I saw her I couldn't take her out of my mind. Every day I would think of her before I slept and every day I woke up she would be the first thing in my mind. I kept on thinking "why, why do I always think of Stephanie? Was this love I felt?" yes love is what I felt and couldn't deny what I felt for Stephanie sooner or later I would have to face the true. We had classes together but I though this wouldn't be the appropriate place to tell her what I’d felt. I ask her out one dawn during school. "Would you like to go to the movies with me?" I told her. "Yes" she replies. So we when to the movies after school and it looked like she had a pleasing time. I was about to reconsider asking her out but I when for it. "Stephanie would you like to be my girlfriend" I declared to her nervously. "I’ll love to Marcos!" she replied with an intensive passion. Since then my entire life changed. I married her and had two magnificent children. "Who said this story would be touched by the sun's light."
